As weddings are being cancelled, or not even being booked, due to the pandemic that is upon us, consider a small, outdoor ceremony at FairHaven Farm where social distancing can be easily practiced.
I believe in the uniqueness of individuals and relationships. I also believe that there is an ancient need within us to celebrate ourselves and life's milestones. My love of creative writing and my acceptance of various walks of life are what make Celebrancy so right for me. As a graduate of the Celebrant Foundation and Institute and membership as an ordained Universal Brotherhood Movement minister, I am qualified to perform wedding ceremonies, as well as other ceremonies.
I live on a farm in Central New York. We grow food to feed our local population and are strong supporters of the local food movement. We have a variety of farm animals, as well as a small herd of Paso Fino horses. Please visit our farm pages on this website.
I am down to earth and in touch with life's realities. Many of us choose to celebrate in ways that are nontraditional and out of the ordinary. I will help you to have the ceremony that reflects your individuality and personal beliefs. Whether you are writing your own wedding vows, creating your own rituals, or just want more control over your ceremony, I would love to discuss options with you to make your day perfect.
Many folks today do not want traditional wedding venues. We are now booking micro weddings on the farm. Please contact us for more information.
Beginning with an initial phone, facetime or skype interview, followed by a questionnaire and resulting in the final draft of a ceremony written by me, exclusively for you, the time I spend preparing for your ceremony is my passion. I love this work!
